Will Gladhart

Music is a side-gig and a life-long passion for me. I am thankful music has been a part of my family makeup and heritage…it has brought joy to my life and at times, provided the best therapy in the low spots. I enjoy being able to deliver special musical moments and share my abilities/ talents with others…all those years of violin/ piano lessons did pay off!

Music Bio

Private lessons began at age six, at Benedictine College, under the instruction of Margaret Davis Kew, former Concert Mistress, St. Joseph and Kansas City Symphonies.

As a youth, I  participated in numerous recitals, Suzuki violin institutes and violin summer camps, youth, civic and university orchestras, as well as studying with several of the nation’s violin elite.

In high school, I performed with the Fort Hays State University Community Orchestra and in college, I had the privilege to perform with the University of Kansas (KU) and Kansas State University (KSU) Orchestras. Additionally, while I was at KSU, the orchestra performed a Tallgrass Prairie music-themed concert with Jay Unger & Molly Mason.

I am the fiddler player for the original Americana music group True North: appearing on stage and opening for entertainers such as Keith Urban, Miranda Lambert and The Band Perry. I  occasionally play session work and record locally in the greater Kansas City Metro Region. I  have also performed for countless weddings, funerals & special events across the country
