Will Gladhart

Music is a side-gig and a life-long passion for Will. He is thankful music has been a part of his family makeup and heritage…it has brought joy to his life and at times, provided the best therapy in the low spots. Will enjoys being able to help deliver special moments and share his musical abilities/ talents with others. All those years of violin/ piano lessons did pay off!

Music Bio

Private lessons began at age six, Benedictine College, under the instruction of Margaret Davis Kew, former Concert Mistress, St. Joseph and Kansas City Symphonies. 

As a youth, Will  participated in numerous recitals, Suzuki violin institutes and violin summer camps, youth, civic and university orchestras, as well as studying with several of the nation’s violin elite. 

In high school,  Will performed with the Fort Hays State University Community Orchestra and in college,  he had the privilege to perform with Kansas University (KU) and Kansas State University (KSU) Orchestras. Additionally, while at KSU, the orchestra performed a Tallgrass Prairie music themed concert with Jay Unger & Molly Mason.  

Will is the fiddler player of the original country music band True North; appearing on stage and opening for entertainers such as Keith Urban, Miranda Lambert and The Band Perry. He occasionally plays session work and record locally in the greater Kansas City Metro Region. He has performed for countless weddings, funerals & special events across the country. 

Gary McKnight

A prolific singer/ songwriter with a passion for collecting guitars, Gary McKnight is an inspirational musician. He is blessed with the ability to weave musical stories through words, painting pictures and imagery of life, looking forward with hope and a backward glance to the past.

Music Bio

Gary McKnight has played stringed instruments since childhood, starting at age five! In college, he studied with famed jazz guitarist/ composer Johnny Smith.

Gary and his brothers began opening for national acts in their teens such as the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. He spent time in Nashville, TN as a composer and session artist, before returning to the Midwest to complete his Doctorate of Audiology degree at the University of Kansas.

He has written, produced and recorded soundtracks for PBS and a special on Midwestern Life. He continues to compose, play live music, provide the vocals and songwriting inspiration with the group, True North.

Gary has sung at hundreds of wedding and provided vocal/ guitar music at local and national ceremonies throughout his career.
